Documents and Unattended Delivery – A-CX Weekly

Happy Labor Day to our US and Canadian crew. We’ve written about what a week of unattended delivery actually takes, with Mix Sound for Film & TV coming up later this month.

Unattended Delivery Results

Ilpo has been writing about a week of unattended AI code delivery. One engineer closed 204 issues and merged 152 pull requests, with planning rather than agent speed driving the throughput. Read the post.

Upcoming Events

A-CX has been working hard preparing for Mix Sound for Film & TV 2026: AI & Sound, running September 26 at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City. Having built the Eclipsa Audio plugins alongside Google, we are going to hear how sound professionals are taking to AI-assisted and spatial audio tools. See the event details.

Document Authority Order

This week the team has been improving how our internal AI tools handle client documents, giving the statement of work, the brief, and the spec a defined order of precedence so the tools stop guessing which one wins when they disagree. If you work on client engagements, read the full update and refresh your project setup.

Input Handling

This week our development team would like to highlight work done on input handling. A control that only answers to the mouse quietly excludes anyone working from the keyboard, and it makes an exact value harder to reach for everyone else. It is worth trying to operate one of your own screens without touching the mouse, and getting in touch if you find a control that will not cooperate.

Thoughts And Technology

Ville shared some thoughts about why AI does not replace a good process but exposes a bad one. He walks through the five stages A-CX uses to stop agents skipping ahead, so read his breakdown.

What We’ve Been Reading

Coding agents disagree about which third-party services to reach for, picking the same tool in only 42% of categories, as shown in this blog post by the Armature team.
