Automated Recovery and Trustworthiness – A-CX Weekly

We’ve been focused on preparing for Mix Sound for Film & TV this week at A-CX, alongside improvements to our internal AI tooling and a look at what makes a test worth trusting.

Upcoming Events

A-CX has been working hard preparing for Mix Sound for Film & TV 2026: AI & Sound, running September 26 at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City. Ville Houttu will be there to talk through the Eclipsa Audio plugin work A-CX built alongside Google. See the details and book time with us.

Overnight Run Recovery

This week the team has been improving how an unattended delivery run handles a provider fault: the run now holds and retries instead of waking someone up, while a decision that needs a person still stops and waits for you. If you use the internal coding agents, read the full update in your mail and refresh any projects using the AI configuration tool.

Trustworthy Checks

Our development team has been focused on tests and guards that can fail. A check that passes whether or not the code beneath it works is worse than no check at all, because it buys confidence nobody earned. Go pick the check you trust most and ask what would have to break for it to fail.

Thoughts And Technology

Ville shared some thoughts about how he fits eight race weekends between late August and November around work. His answer is that he books races and travel months ahead, the same way he plans work events and campaigns, so see how he lays out the calendar.

A-CX has been considering what came out of the stand at iVT Expo Chicago. The conversations there about where AI fits in off-highway and industrial vehicles are already shaping into something for iVT Expo 2027, so read the wrap-up.

Here at A-CX we’ve been talking about what an outside accreditation verifies. A-CX is now BBB accredited through BBB Mountain West and Pacific Southwest, and Ville has served six years on that board, so see what that means for clients.
