A-CX Earns BBB Accreditation
A-CX is now a BBB accredited business, accredited through BBB, Mountain West & Pacific Southwest. For clients, that adds an independent layer of accountability on top of the delivery record A-CX already stands on: honest representation of the work, a clear path to resolve any dispute, and real safeguards on how client data gets handled.
What BBB Accreditation Actually Requires
Earning BBB accreditation means agreeing to the Better Business Bureau’s eight Standards for Trust and staying under ongoing review against them. It also requires an established operating track record, and, where the industry calls for it, the right licensing, bonding, and insurance.
- Build Trust: Establish and maintain a positive track record in the marketplace.
- Honor Promises: Abide by written agreements and verbal representations.
- Advertise Honestly: Adhere to established standards of advertising and selling.
- Tell the Truth: Represent products and services honestly, with clear and prominent disclosure of material terms.
- Be Transparent: Disclose the business’s identity, location, and ownership, along with the policies and terms that affect a buying decision.
- Be Responsive: Address marketplace disputes quickly, professionally, and in good faith.
- Safeguard Privacy: Protect collected data against mishandling and fraud, and respect how customers want their information used.
- Embody Integrity: Approach every business dealing and commitment with integrity.
What This Means for A-CX Clients
Three of the eight standards translate directly into what a client can expect. Be Responsive means marketplace disputes get addressed quickly and in good faith, with BBB itself available as an outside channel if something needs escalating. Safeguard Privacy means client data is protected against mishandling, with clear limits on how it gets used. Be Transparent means A-CX’s identity, location, and business practices are a matter of public record, not something a client has to take on faith.
Why This Carries Extra Weight Coming From Ville
A-CX founder and CEO Ville Houttu has served on the board of BBB, Mountain West & Pacific Southwest, formerly BBB Pacific Southwest, for six years. That gives him a closer view than most founders get into what accreditation actually checks for: a real pattern of honest dealing, reviewed on an ongoing basis, rather than a certificate issued on request.
“No client asked us to get accredited,” Houttu said. “We wanted it because those things matter to us.”
Why A-CX Pursued It Now
A-CX already asks clients to trust it with production systems, sensitive data, and AI governance decisions that carry real operational risk. BBB accreditation gives that trust an external, ongoing check, on top of the delivery record and the Secure Cloud standard the firm already holds itself to.
Trust, Built Locally
BBB’s own phrase for what accreditation represents is “Trust, Built Locally.” For A-CX clients, that means the same thing delivery does: a standard that gets held whether or not anyone is checking.
