A-CX Launches Partnership with Applied Fluid Power and Epec at iVT Expo Chicago 2026
Most machines waste fuel, and most break down in ways nobody saw coming. A-CX partners with Applied Fluid Power and Epec to change that, debuting at iVT Expo Chicago 2026 on August 19 and 20.
Your machines already keep track of things like fuel use, temperature, and running hours. Epec’s hardware, the control units and in-cab screens, gets that information off the machine and turns it into telematics data A-CX can use. Those machines run on fluid power systems from Applied Fluid Power, one of the largest fluid power companies in North America, which designs, builds, and maintains those systems through a nationwide service network. A-CX takes that same information and turns it into plain advice the operator can see while they work.
On the job, that means three things. The machine tells the operator when it is running outside its efficient load range, so it burns less fuel for the same work. It gives an early, plain warning when a part is wearing out, before it leaves the machine stuck in the field. It also cuts ramp-up time for newer operators and reduces the errors that come with it, with tips right on the display.

A-CX estimates that a fleet of 50 machines running a typical mixed-duty cycle could save around $100,000 a year in fuel, mostly from running engines in their best range. That is an estimate, not a promise. The real figure depends on the machines themselves, which is the kind of thing A-CX works out with a customer directly.
